Aarushi Nishank: Even though the way of expression has evolved over time, love stays constant

15th February, Mumbai: India's renowned Kathak dancer, actor, film producer, environmentalist, Tedx speaker and national convener of Sparsh Gang, Ms. Aarushi Nishank, always been in to exploring new ways of celebration. This year on Valentine’s day when beloveds lookout for some time to spend together, Aarushi chose to spend the day with the slum children. 

On 14th February, Aarushi visited Geeta Nagar slum in Colaba with the intention to spread love to the deprived. She believes that Valentine’s Day is just not meant for lovers or couples, it’s a day for everyone. We can celebrate this day with our parents, siblings, or friends. This Valentine’s day, she spent some time in the slum because she feels that love is an expensive commodity, especially in this scenario where people are busy and they don’t have time for anything. It’ll, therefore be special for her because she prefers to share love, compassion, and care with these children

Along with this, she is constantly active in women's empowerment and social sector. 

Aarushi seen in one of the hit music video of Tseries “Wafa Na Raas Aye” sung by Jubin Nautiyal, collected overwhelming response from the audience. The song has garnered 295 million views on Tseries official Youtube channel till date.

Aarushi has received many accolades for her achievements in the country and abroad. These include Youth Icon Award (Dubai), Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman, Bharat Gaurav Samman, Atal Maharishi Shikhar Samman.
