21st February, Mumbai: Actor Hitanshu Jinsi who will be seen in the new show on Star Plus Chashni says that while looks cannot be changed, fitness is something that one must work on. The actor says that being fit and healthy will go a long way in helping you lead a quality life.
“People, who are overweight, should be conscientious and pay attention to their diet. Instead of grabbing hands on anything that is available in the market and saying I am like this only or I know this is not healthy at all! If you want to live a healthy and long life, you have to take your diet seriously. Having said that, I am against being conscious, or commenting, on looks. Looks are God's gifted and by eating a good diet, your skin can become better good. We should focus on what’s in our control, and improve ourselves,” he says.
He adds, “No matter how you look, fitness must be your priority. Judging people on the basis of how they look has been going on for a long time. In fact, it still happens. Looks, clothes, cars, job designations should be kept aside and we must respect the human being.”
Talking about the importance he gives to dressing up, he says, “I relate myself to Arijit Singh in this matter. I get ready when I go out for shoots or meetings but when I am out shopping or for a movie, or the gym, I am very casual and I don't stress out about my outfit. Comfort comes first for me.”
Meanwhile, he says that it’s important to not focus so much on how other people look. “I don't know when people will stop judging other people but this should really stop. In fact, I would suggest people to stop caring about what other people think about them. And live life according to themselves.”
